**Salary ($21.53-$28.70)**




**Overview:**


Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner following all safety policies and procedures.

Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment.

Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:**


Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.

**Qualifications:**


**Required:**


+ High school diploma, GED
+ 2 year manufacturing machine operation requirement
+ Prior manufacturing experience with the ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail
+ Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending is required
+ Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors
+ Must be able to use and read a micrometer
+ The ability to demonstrate your mechanical and computer skills
+ Must have good English skills in reading, writing and communicating


+ Must be able to work in a team environment and to work overtime as the need arises
+ Must be able to pass background check and drug test

**Preferred:**


+ Prior extrusion experience preferred
+ Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience

**Work Environment/Physical Demands:**


+ Prior extrusion experience preferred
+ Will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
+ Occasionally lifting < 10pounds as needed
+ Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
+ Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed.
+ Frequently required to lift and carry objects of 30-50 pounds as needed.
+ Occasionally required to push and pull reels.
