Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX.
This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Provide troubleshooting support both horizontal functional and technical for SDLC platforms and SDM pipeline Work under general direction on most complex support tasks and seek guidance and direction from more senior associates or managers Initial problem troubleshoot and route the issues to appropriate support level team Collaborate with internal teams (EET incident management/problem/change management client teams and service delivery teams) Address all configuration issues for the development team's applications within the tools Lead the design and implementation of interactive dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate data insights to diverse audiences Oversee the development of best practices for data visualization, ensure the consistency, accessibility, and user-centric design Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into impactful visual solutions Mentor and develop team members, foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in data visualization techniques Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to enhance the data visualization capabilities of the organization Conduct regular review sessions with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of visualizations and iterate based on feedback Requirements: Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, or Design) 5+ years of experience in data visualization or analytics, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms Strong understanding of data storytelling principles and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner Experience with Oracle/SQL or other querying languages to extract and manipulate data Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and managing teams Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis Familiarity with data engineering concepts and ETL processes Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles Experience working in a hybrid work environment Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment Excellent organizational skills Understanding of SDLC and SDM pipeline Strong technical troubleshooting skills in Bitbucket, Github, Jenkins (Cloudbees), Ansible, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, XLR Experience with Application development using Java, .NET, Python Windows, Microsoft Office 2016, SharePoint Command line experience Experience writing scripts (add specific scripts) Experience with Linux, Windows server, monitoring tools Experience with DevOps CI/CD applications and automated build and deploy configuration and processes.
Jenkins and Ansible experience Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal Able to support clients in a fast paced environment in critical situations Able to meet all expected SLA's Experience with supporting end users and providing assistance to users based on established processes Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities A collaborative mindset with a focus on building strong relationships across teams Passion for data and a commitment to fostering a data-driven culture within the organization Experience with writing and maintenance of process documentation Strong aptitude for forward thinking of complex processes to eliminate manual processing Previous experience as a developer and debugging capabilities Ability to handle multiple issues during their shift Good time management skills Excellent written and spoken communications skills (English) for clear, concise correspondence to end users Technical experience Strong aptitude for communicating complex processes in an educational manner
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24
