Summary of Work

Hiring Range: $5,250-$5,667/month plus full state benefit package

The Program Administrator III, within the Office of School Approval & Opportunity, holds responsibility in the management and assistance to school districts with the State Automatic Reporting System (STARS), student contract system, and school transportation program.

Key Responsibilities Include:

-Management of the State Automated Reporting System (STARS) by providing technical assistance, ensuring the accuracy of reports and acting as a liaison with school districts.

-Review, ensure accuracy, and approve student contracts, to include general education contracts and state responsible special education contracts.

-Review Notifications of Placements and act as a liaison between placing agencies and school districts for notification of placements and residency disputes.

-Manage the School Transportation program by providing guidance, assisting with transportation reporting, leading committees related to the program, and reviewing bus driver training programs.

-Lead Student Engagement Survey process.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and three years of professional-level work experience, which must have included experience relating to the program assignment.
