Job Summary
National Institutes of Health-funded clinical trial, Veggie Vouchers, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Coordinator to support and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned research projects.
This role will oversee project staff, ensure quality assurance in study-related activities, and help drive successful execution of research protocols.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating recruitment, retention, and data collection protocols.Training, supervising, and evaluating data collection staff.Tracking study activities and maintaining detailed records.Preparing and submitting IRB materials.Developing and managing schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.Presenting project updates in meetings with investigators, staff, and community partners. The position requires occasional local and regional travel (with reimbursement per university policies) as well as availability during evenings and weekends to support data collection activities.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Masters degree in area of research specialty.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Exercise Science, Public Health, or related field, and 1 year of related research program experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Expertise in the use of basic exercise testing equipment, personal computers, and the Internet.A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.Experience or interest in nutrition in children or youth.Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with school and doctors office personnel, children and adolescents, parents, and the community at large. Development of protocols will lead to the preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) materials to the Universitys Office of Research Compliance.
Train and evaluate data collection staff on said protocols and procedures.
