Job Description

This role collaborates closely with clinical, operational, quality and supply chain teams to implement evidence-based practices that optimize resource use without compromising patient care quality.

Leading candidates will demonstrate thorough awareness of healthcare supply chain, supplies and implants, and demonstrate strong analytical and people skills, promoting an effective and collaborative working relationship to drive change management.

  • Analyze data on supply and implant utilization trends to identify opportunities for standardization and clinical variation reduction.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and supply chain leaders to implement cost-efficient strategies.

  • Develop and lead initiatives to promote evidence-based decision-making in the selection and use of supplies and implants.

  • Monitor the performance of clinical utilization programs, ensuring alignment with cost-reduction and supply chain efficiency goals.

  • Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining high-quality product availability.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of clinical variation reduction programs, including engaging with surgeons to drive adherence.

    Provide regular updates to governing committees and service line leaders.

  • Report on program performance, cost savings, and process improvements to senior leadership.

    Bachelor’s Degree in related field

    Clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred, not required.

    Previous experience in value analysis, supply chain management, or healthcare purchasing preferred.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.

    Knowledge of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and healthcare regulations.
