Overview

Manages program-based patient care services; including personnel, fiscal management and development of the colorectal program.

The Program Manager develops processes and policies to support patient and family care for the complex colorectal patient.

This position proactively identifies and leads process improvement opportunities, and is responsible for care coordination of CCC (Comprehensive Colorectal Center) patients across the CMH system.

Manages daily clinical operational issues, as well as supports staff and patient scheduling to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Personnel management.
  • Manages daily program operations of the Complex Colorectal Center (CCC) to ensure that the highest quality patient care across all CCC services is delivered.
  • Responsible for care coordination for CCC patients across the CMH system.
  • In collaboration with the surgical director, develops process and policies to support care of the CCC patient and family.
  • Participates as a member of the healthcare team for CCC patients.
  • Fiscal accountability for CCC operations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree BSN and3-5 years experienceExtensive experience in pediatric nursing or relevant colorectal experienceAdditional experience in progrom or project management and development, and data analysis is preferredExperience with QI / Research is preferred
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
  • RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MORegistered Nurse Multistate License in MO or KS required after 90 days

    Starting Pay

    Our pay ranges are market competitive.

    The pay range for this job begins at $39.86/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

    Remote Work/Work from Home

    This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
