Job description

Summary

As a member of our Drug Development Program Management practice, we will rely on your ability to lead, implement and deliver projects to our clients in the life sciences field.

Our goal is to identify projects where you live, in order to keep travel as limited as possible.

·If you feel like you are an energetic and self-motivated consultant, but one who can play nicely in the sandbox too, please read on.

·If you have experience planning and managing projects using a variety of project management and process improvement methodologies and tools, please read on.

·If you have experience acting in a consultative sales capacity occasionally in order to win new business opportunities, please read on.

·If you have already worked in a life sciences setting on more than one project and supported a specific product or therapeutic area, please read on.

We are looking for you to:

·Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of several projects or one large project.

·Understand how to assess team development and set up processes to build strong cohesive project teams.

·Contribute to effectively planning projects that balance scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

·Effectively execute communication strategies.

·Effectively utilize MS Project, SharePoint, and other collaboration or planning tools to drive project oversight and management.

·Utilize experience leading complex matrixed environments

·Build rapport and assert influence across a variety of disciplines

·Possess or obtain a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.

·Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects.

Business Development

·Occasionally assist in or drive, where appropriate, the identification and management of new business.

·Raise the visibility of GForce Life Sciences through involvement in industry organizations.

  • Client Management

    ·Manage day-to-day client interactions and expectations for one or many projects (Typically 1-3 assets).

    ·Anticipate client needs and proposes alternative business solutions.

    ·Continually seek and capitalize on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

    Requirements

    ·Advanced Degree (Masters, Ph.D., PharmD) in Life Sciences Field

    ·CAPM Certification, PMP Certification, or equivalent preferred

    ·At least 5 years of strong project management, cross-functional experience directly at a Global Pharmaceutical company

    ·Deep drug development experience (Post IND – Commercialization)

    ·Experience in a complex therapeutic area (Oncology, CNS, Rare Disease)

    ·5+ years program management experience leading complex pharmaceutical projects in a multi-disciplinary, global environment

    ·Demonstrated ability to positively influence outcomes, key project decisions, and strategic problem-solving

    ·Proven success moving assets across different phases

    ·Consulting experience preferred

    ·Experience with the following: Development of project plans, ability to update detailed budget and resource tracking tools, ability to aptly navigate and create documents in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

    ·Exceptional interpersonal skills

    ·Travel may be required dependent upon the engagement.
