Manages the day-to-day operations of a large university program or department, including the supervision of staff employees, student workers, programs or processes.

• Manage and oversee the department's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate the purchasing and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations.
• Oversee property management, including asset tracking, inventory control, and ensuring proper maintenance and disposal of departmental assets.
• Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure alignment of administrative and technical objectives.
• Implement and maintain administrative systems and processes to improve efficiency and support departmental goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors and 1 year experience
Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline.
Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
Certification/Licensing: None.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant work experience can substitute for formal education.
• Proven experience in administrative management, preferably within an IT or law-related environment.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with university or college IT support environments.
• Knowledge of University policy and procedures
