**Job Description**

The Education Project Manager II is responsible for facilitating Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) education within the American Heart Association’s RQI Complete platform and enhancing learning through integrated clinical simulation.

This role blends performance-driven resuscitation training with team-based simulation experiences to support sustained provider competency, clinical confidence, and improved patient outcomes.

**Qualifications**

+ **Education Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred
+ Current AHA ACLS and PALS Instructor certification
+ Completion of RQI Instructor Essentials (or complete within 1 year of hiring)
+ Strong understanding of high-performance CPR metrics and AHA resuscitation science
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide supportive, objective feedback
+ Knowledge of high-fidelity resuscitation simulation manikins

**Experience Requirements**

**Preferred**

+ Experience as an educator or coach in clinical or simulation-based environments
+ Familiarity with RQI platform, simulation station management, and LMS/eCard systems
+ Clinical experience in acute care or emergency settings (e.g., RN, RT, Paramedic, EMT)
+ Experience driving an ambulance or other similarly sized vehicle
+ Project Management Experience
+ Patient Safety and Quality Experience

**Responsibilities**

1.

Deliver and support ACLS training through the AHA’s RQI Complete platform.
2.

Facilitate structured debriefings and clinical simulations that reinforce ACLS algorithms, critical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
3.

Monitor provider performance data via RQI analytics and provide individual or group coaching to address knowledge or skill gaps.
4.

Deliver in-person or virtual ACLS and PALS Provider updates when needed, maintaining fidelity to AHA guidelines.
5.

Integrate ACLS content into interprofessional simulations, mock codes, and skills refreshers that mirror real-life clinical scenarios.
6.

Conduct onboarding, orientation, and support for learners participating in RQI Complete, including navigation of simulation stations and manikins.
7.

Serve as a subject matter expert in high-quality resuscitation, offering consultation to clinical units on code team readiness and response.
8.

Maintain course records, learner progress reports, and eCard issuance in accordance with AHA Training Center protocols.
9.

Ensure fidelity to AHA curriculum and guidelines across all simulation and RQI-related educational offerings.
10.

Lead instructor development sessions, program reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance training outcomes.
11.

Collaborate with clinical leadership and the AHA Training Center to track compliance, identify skill gaps, and enhance resuscitation performance culture.
12.

Maintain accurate records of learner completion and performance data in accordance with AHA and institutional standards.
13.

Stay current on updates to AHA science, RQI platform enhancements, and best practices for performance-based learning.
14.

Participate in instructor calibration sessions and quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency across the program
15.

Facilitate in-situ simulations in collaboration with nurse educators
16.

Liaison with the simulation center as needed

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $64526.72 - $150800 Annually.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
