What You Will Do
As a Senior Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate multiple country-specific initiatives within a strategic program for a global pharmaceutical client.
You will serve as the primary liaison among project leads, vendor partners, and key business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business priorities, compliance standards, and funding requirements.
This role requires strong leadership in resource planning, governance, and risk management while driving process improvements and enabling effective collaboration across global functions.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate multiple country-specific initiatives (e.g., Poland, Turkey, Brazil) within the Book of Business program, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance requirements.
Serve as the main point of contact between project leads, vendor partners, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and visibility into project status and dependencies.
Manage program resources, including onboarding and integrating project managers into the program framework.
Establish governance frameworks, monitor project progress, and provide regular updates to leadership, leveraging JIRA for tracking and reporting.
Develop and refine processes for project prioritization, demand management, and lifecycle tracking, including effective labeling and organization in JIRA.
Identify risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks; implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and minimize business disruption.
Partner with finance, commercial, and IT teams to ensure alignment and funding, while coordinating with external partners (e.g., Client) for seamless execution.
Qualifications
Senior-level program management experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally supporting complex, global initiatives.
Proven ability to manage cross-country or multi-market projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
Expertise in governance, reporting, and lifecycle tracking using tools such as JIRA.
Strong skills in risk and dependency management, resource planning, and process improvement.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate across business, IT, finance, and vendor organizations.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
PMP or Agile certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
