Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead.

That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Risk Operations Enablement team sits within the Risk Operations org and is responsible for partnering across Risk teams.

Our mission is to enable users to seamlessly meet evolving compliance standards in a complex regulatory environment.

More specifically, our team focuses on Program management, User Insights, and Operational Efficiency.

As an enablement function, we worked with many stakeholders including Operations, Product, Eng, GTM, and others.

If you’re the type of person who enjoys working on high impact projects on a global scale, running programs from end to end, and advocating for users – you’ll love this role.

Note: We do not require prior experience in Risk or Compliance to be considered for this role.

What you’ll do

If you thrive on owning an expansive and complex topic area, teasing out the highest-impact work to tackle, rallying cross-functional support, and executing against multiple workstreams in parallel to hit your objectives, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple complex global programs, from initial scoping to design and execution
  • Create structured approaches to user feedback and insights to improve our programs and user experience
  • Drive top-line prioritization of work, and manage tradeoffs on resourcing and roadmapping
  • Design and launch projects that lead to step-change improvements in our operational processes and business outcomes
  • Partner closely with our cross-functional stakeholders to scope and execute large projects to create operational efficiencies that improve top-line metrics
  • Go beyond domain expertise and serve as a trusted strategic partner with senior stakeholders to shape the future
  • As a senior IC, serve as a role model and mentor to others, embodying our Operating Principles and fostering our values and culture
  • Who you are

You are a strategic operator and powerful storyteller.

You have significant experience writing 1-pagers, developing slide decks, and using data visualization tools – and your work serves as an inspiration to others.

There’s no problem too large or small to solve; you pride yourself on being a problem solver.

    Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, strategy & operations, or go-to-market strategy
  • Strong thought leadership, ability to articulate strategy and project plans, and develop a clear point of view
  • Bias towards action and high comfort with ambiguity and influencing without authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to discuss complex topics in an easy-to-consume way and adept at both working-level and exec-level comms
  • Ability to present with confidence and present with credibility to senior stakeholders
  • Experience partnering directly with product and engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle and/or go-to-market
  • Strong data analysis skills - can confidently analyze spreadsheets, navigate large datasets, and use data to tell stories
  • High willingness to learn and receive feedback
  • Preferred qualifications

  • 2+ years in consulting or finance
  • MBA preferred
  • Prior tech experience preferred
  • Hybrid work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).

    In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users.

This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

    Working remotely at Stripe

A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices.

While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office.

Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location.

We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.

    Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $154,900 - $232,300.

For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (OTE) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.

Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
