Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as providing world‐class support and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners.
The Special Projects & Investigations (SPI) team protects Amazon’s WW stores store by creating projects and programs focused on the detection of abuse at its earliest point and identifying the root causes, vulnerabilities or exploits to systematically address to prevent future abuse.

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to own a portfolio of global risk mitigation programs partnering with teams across the company to design, build, and maintain processes focused around risk mitigation and enforcement.
You will set the vision, direction and execution of key deliverables in the risk management space, developing business cases and requirements, and prioritizing competing opportunities.
You will work with a wide range of global cross-functional teams to build protections, and partner with technology and science teams to build scalable risk detection systems, understanding customer needs, defining clear project plans and executing to high expectations in a fast-paced and highly visible delivery area.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about using and understanding data to discover bad actor trends and help us ensure that customers make great purchase decisions and our selling partners using Amazon are successful listing and selling their products.
Your decisions and deliverables will help proactively mitigate risk and empower partner teams in making high confidence decisions that are fundamental to protecting Amazon customers, selling partners, and will help maintain the overall health of Amazon's WW stores.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and lead end-to-end execution of catalog and discovery-related abuse programs and initiatives worldwide, coordinating efforts across business, science, analytics, legal, operations, technology and industry experts.
- Deep dive catalog and discovery fraud and abuse trends, identify vulnerabilities, assess risk and implement measures to mitigate risk, close gaps and address abuse by collaborating with partner teams and sharing trends and signals used to identify abuse.
- Work with Amazon’s tools and systems used in fulfillment , catalog, and or discovery as well as outline the seller, brand, and product lifecycle as it relates to actioning and detecting bad actors.
- Set up mechanisms including reports, KPIs and docs to drive engagement and/or monitor the health of catalog and discovery-related metrics, measure performance and impact, highlight successes, challenges and areas of opportunity.
- Establish feedback loops with partner teams to share missed opportunities and signals that can be used to identify those use cases.
- Analyze large datasets and conduct investigations to ensure accuracy of actions and decisions.
- Define strategy and drive goals across multiple stakeholders and orgs through leadership document reviews and actions items.
Conduct thorough investigations, providing meaningful summaries, recommendation, updates and escalation to leadership when goals are at risk.
- Influence teams, remove roadblocks, gain buy-in from tech and policy stakeholders to deliver in an ambiguous environment.
A day in the life
This role is focused on managing a portfolio of programs focused on the goal of proactively mitigating risk in Amazon’s WW stores from bad actors manipulating catalog and discovery systems and functions.
Each day is different as new behaviors and trends are constantly discovered.
You will regularly partner with investigation and data experts to finetune anomaly detection mechanisms and intake requests from WW teams to quickly analyze and execute key functions to stop abuse.
You will gain an understanding of the Amazon’s seller, brand and ASIN framework and lifecycle, and the mental model around bad actor detection and signal creation within our team.
You will gain an understanding of the various mechanism sellers use to increase traffic on their ASINs (e.g. deals, reviews, promotions, sponsored Ads, bots, etc).
You will coordinate with internal partner teams understand their priorities, capabilities, and workflows around catalog and discovery to see how/if your program should interact with their tools and goals.
You will be making decisions that drive the strategic vision of catalog and discovery programs in alignment with broader organizational goals and working with partner teams across Amazon to collaborate around strategic initiatives.
You are on the front lines of protecting Amazon customers and stopping abuse in our stores.
About the team
Our team is comprised of experts in the risk domains like fraud, cybersecurity, data security, internal risk, threat intelligence, regulatory compliance, vendor risk, etc.
with data analysis and/or technical skills.
We complement specialized industry skills with broad risk experiences gathered through years of experience to deliver results - we wear a lot of hats and take ownership of hard to solve problem areas whenever possible.
We speak 7 languages, write code in 3 (mostly self taught, on the job), and celebrate learning and taking risks.
We encourage experimentation and curiosity while supporting each other to constantly learn and grow.
Our work is to solve hard puzzles and identify what hasn’t already been discovered - typically with data and always with a lot persistence and curiosity.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
