JOB DUTIES
Initiate engineering change request at the plant level based on recommendations from the plant operations leadership team.
Prepare capital requests, including quotes, internal costs for budgeted and unbudgeted capital expenditures for submission and approvals from the local and global leadership teams.
Assist with customer resolution, pre- and post-launch engineering change management as it relates to products sold to Lindal customers.
Track actual capital expenses vs budgeted expenses as it applies to purchases, receipts and completion of projects.
Track all Lindal North America projects in the custom case management program Linsite to the specific completion dates assigned.
Escalate delays and constraints that prohibit meeting Linsite deliverables to local management and global management to ensure resolution and or recovery plans to be implemented, communicated and completed.
Participate in engineering and manufacturing feasibility review.
Work with the cross functional team of department managers to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress using the Lindal gate review process as the outline for the key milestones for new products, processes, changes to existing products or process and/or capital purchases.
Collect all capital equipment operational and maintenance instructions and critical spare parts list and distribute it to the appropriate personnel.
Complete plant/facility layout changes as required and present to the local management team for approvals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering required with two (2) years of experience as Program / Project Manager
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The two (2) years of experience must include experience with program / project management in the manufacturing industry, experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Outlook, Project, reading product drawings and prints, management of large-scale manufacturing projects exceeding $1 million value, preparation of project tracking timelines using Gantt charts
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, 40 hours per week.
