Job Description:
- Possesses in depth knowledge and experience with services acquiring, and payment processing solutions for small/large businesses and financial institutions.
- Capable of working on complex projects, including problem solving, documentation, timelines and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services.
- Supports existing business systems applications.
- Works on moderate complex projects and issues within functional area.
- Works more independently with IT functional units and business units.
Recommends strategies for improving system applications.
- Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.
- Develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
- Lead the knowledge sharing sessions where team shares ideas and new features of the product.
- Performs code reviews for the deliverables of self and others.
- Performs code walk thru sessions to ensure defect free delivery of the code.
Need to have:
- 2+ yrs.
of related IT experience in software development.
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Technology, OR equivalent work experience.
- Expert in multiple programming languages and tools.
- Some knowledge in emerging technologies.
- Possesses strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of complex internal business processes or functions.
- Must be expert in Mainframe technology with expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM and DB2.
Great to have:
- Experience with Credit Card processing
- Java development experience
- Assembler knowledge
