Job description

Primary Purpose

Facilitates engineer, design and project management for assigned projects.


Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works with internal customers and third parties (architects, engineers, construction) to facilitate engineering and design and develops clear project scopes.

    Provides mentorship to Project Engineer I.
  • Develops a project scope with the Project team based on internal customer needs.

    Researches, evaluates, engineers and designs.

    Manages projects through completion.
  • Manages and directs construction, renovation and/or project activities to achieve stated objective on time and on budget.
  • Directs and enforces safety policies and standards for projects.
  • Manages quality outcome of assigned projects - on time and on budget.

    Provides periodic reporting as directed.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Agricultural).
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
  • AutoCAD skills & collaborating skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills & problem-solving skills.
  • Project administration.
  • Internal resource coordination.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Project.
  • Perform General Physical Activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Able and willing to lift between 40 - 60lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in extreme cold/hot environments.
  • Able to perform strenuous work in wet/damp environments.

  • This position performs duties as assigned, leaving work area clean and organized.
