Project Engineer – Commercial Construction – Entry to Mid-Level

A top general contractor in the nation is seeking Project Engineers with 2–5 years of experience for ground-up commercial construction projects across multiple sectors including healthcare, higher education, institutional, data centers, high-rise, sporting facilities, and many projects for well-known national brands.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist Project Managers with managing commercial building construction projects.


  • Visit job sites to clarify scope of work and prepare cost estimates.


  • Support bidding, subcontractor coordination, and material procurement.


  • Maintain project schedules, documentation, submittals, change orders, permits, and project closeouts.


  • Conduct site inspections and facilitate project meetings.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.


  • 2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction.


  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


  • Willingness to travel as required.
