Responsibilities You will establish and execute Project Management Plans for the ARMADA unmanned surface platform.
You will lead the design, testing, integration, and production support of the wireless communication/data-link system installed on the ARMADA unmanned surface platform.
You will facilitate effective communication across the program to ensure all relevant information is collected, centralized, tracked, and distributed across the program.
You will interface with the ARMADA sponsor, other collaborating warfare centers, contract partners, and end customers.
You will support periodic sponsor and team meetings, certification panels, design reviews, local configuration control boards, working groups, and integrated product teams.
You will interface and communicate directly with the CORVUS Project Manager regarding discussions among various stakeholders in resolving issues, preparing documentation, as well as answering action items and data calls.
You will provide technical oversight and direction to contractors and field activities related to the assigned tasking and systems.
You will coordinate technical efforts to address system integration and interoperability.
You will assist the CORVUS Project Manager in weekly and monthly status reports of budget, schedule, risks, and resources.
You will assist the CORVUS Program Manager with proposals, statements of work, and Work Acceptance documents with cost and schedule inputs.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer leading, planning, or executing engineering projects.
Examples of specialized experience may include: leading teams on fast-paced engineering projects with multiple stakeholders; utilizing knowledge of engineering/scientific concepts and technology to advance engineering project goals; adapting theory and/or good scientific practices to overcome engineering project obstacles.

Education FOR THE 0801 - General Engineering series: A.
Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
The courses must be fully acceptable toward meeting the requirements of an engineering program as described in paragraph A (above) OR E.
Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least one year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance.
Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
