Internship Opportunity
Join World Vision’s Field Strategy and Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (DMEAL) team as a Project Management & Communications Intern.
Our team drives program quality worldwide by equipping Field Offices with the tools, systems, and evidence needed to design, monitor, and adapt programs that deliver real impact for children.
Through this internship, you’ll help strengthen how we manage projects, organize knowledge, and communicate learning across our global network.
What You'll Do:
Project Management Support: Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating projects within the DMEAL team.
Maintain task trackers, prepare status updates, monitor timelines, and flag risks or bottlenecks.
Communications & Design: Create engaging content for internal audiences, such as newsletters, updates, and announcements, and design visual products (infographics, one-pagers, presentations) using Canva or similar tools.
Website Revamp: Contribute to refreshing the Field Strategy & DMEAL internal site by organizing resources and making the platform more accessible and user-friendly.
Document Management: Collect, organize, and archive country DMEAL resources in standardized filing systems to ensure knowledge is easy to find and share.
Knowledge Products: Format and edit guidance, toolkits, and quick reference guides that support global learning.
General Team Support: Provide administrative and creative support during meetings, capture notes, and contribute fresh ideas to strengthen our knowledge-sharing culture.

What You Need to Know:

Location: Remote within the US.
You must be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, International Development, International Relations, Global Studies, Public Administration, Public Policy, Knowledge/Information Management, Graphic Design or Digital Media (with interest in development/NGO sector), or related fields.
Internship Cohort Dates: 26 January – 24 April, 2026.
Stipend: This internship is unpaid, but all US-based interns receive a monthly stipend of $800.
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)
Eligibility
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
At least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 student visa holder with valid work authorization) and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number.
Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week for the entire internship period: 26 January – 24 April, 2026.
Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate programme (within 2 years).
Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices.
