Our Project Management team are the hub that drives all work through our processes.

The Project Management team sets the bar for problem solving and decisiveness across the agency team and functional groups to effectively lead the team to the best outcome for our clients.

The Project Management Director is responsible for the success of the collective team and delivery to client.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight, management, and support for growing project management team on high profile, high performance client.

  • Oversees definition of annual scopes, staff plans, and roadmaps within assigned portfolio, and alignment with long-term annual marketing plans and budgets for high risk / complexity projects within assigned portfolio.
  • Monitors and optimizes holistic staff plan allocations within assigned portfolio to ensure alignment of funding to staff, staff level to complexity, and identify and mitigate gaps, opportunities, or redundancy as it relates to direct and indirect reports.
  • Helps grow existing accounts, mitigate risks, identify new opportunities.
  • Responsible for validating monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast through collaboration with resourcing and project management team.

  • Works in collaboration with Assoc.

    Director, Project Management, through annual planning key learnings, for future resourcing needs.

    Monitors cross-discipline staffing, resources, and burn rates for assigned portfolio to ensure tracking towards strategic and financial goals and alignment with annual marketing plans and budgets.

  • Consults with Utilization Lead on cross-discipline program/portfolio staffing and burn rates, utilization, resource/hiring requests, and issue mitigation.
  • Serves as escalation point for teams across clients within program.
  • Enables and promotes collaboration across IAT to ensure information, best practices, and new processes are documented, shared, and advocated.
  • Partners with DDB business leads to optimize financial processes across IAT partners to ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Optimizes processes related to contract compliance and ensures new processes are documented, shared/trained, and advocated.
  • Leads defining agency’s project management best practices, process, and tools; trains and onboards teams and departments.
  • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience within an advertising agency or with multi-agency teams across disciplines.
  • Solid track record of successfully leading projects from initiation to completion on time, on budget, and within scope, including resource management across disciplines.
  • Complete understanding of principles of marketing and communications planning, including strategy, creative, and production practices.
  • Advertising agency experience mandatory.
