<p>The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction process from bid through construction completion.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>This role is in-person, Monday-Friday at our corporate headquarters in Tempe, Arizona.</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead the construction process including: tracking permits, bid and contractor selection (including GC contract negotiations), manage vendors and internal procurement team.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Build and update cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Work with internal Design and Engineering teams to finalize design.

Identifying construction related issues prior to submission to AHJ.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Direct the activities of vendors/consultants as required for implementations.</li>
<li>Communicate with internal corporate leadership regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, sustainability, quality control, and other performance standards.</li>
<li>Participate in negotiating&nbsp; contracts with external vendors to reach a mutual agreement</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

<p><strong>What you should have</strong></p>
<p>To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.</p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in project management, real estate construction.</li>
<ul>
<li>Multi Site Regional / National Experience preferred</li>
</ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent of professional experience.</li>
<li>In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with managing multiple construction projects with competing priorities</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Superior interpersonal skills, ability to interface with a variety of personalities with professionalism.</li>
<li>Ability to leverage strong business acumen and understanding of Carvana business to prioritize and execute in accordance with what is both feasible and beneficial for the company.</li>
<li>Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, with an entrepreneurial approach to project management and a commitment to team support.</li>
<li>Able to help create, develop, and implement process improvement(s).</li>
<li>Must promote the company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.</li>
<li>Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.</li>
<li>Must be proficient in MS Office and Adobe.</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time).</li>
