Urgent! Project Manager - E&C Job Opening In USA, USA – Now Hiring Abacus Service Corporation
Description:
The E&C Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project once the project is turned over for field execution.
The size of the projects range from million to billion dollars per project.
All the project assoicated departments (Development, BM, PC, Engr, ISC, etc.) answer to the PM during the field execution phase.
Specifically the PM is responsible for:
) Staff and Employee Management;
) Safety Management;
) Contract Administration;
) Project Management Planning;
) Cost Management;
) Time Management;
) Quality & Schedule;
) Commissioning and start-up of the facility;
) set-up of operations' readiness;
) Public Relations and Corporation Commication's liasion at the site and community level.
The PM will also act as the company representative with local, national and international agencies and regulating entities during the execution phase.
The PM approves all payments and CCO's for the company with unlimited authorization authority.

Position Specific Description
In this role you would directly impact the company's goal of growing the fossil generation business by leading projects to ensure success, including coordination with cross functional teams (Development, Environmental, Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Operations, etc.) across the NextEra Energy organization.
You would report to and update leadership within the Engineering and Construction Department and provide your input and expertise on a daily basis to subject matter experts as the project leader of a collaborative and dynamic team.
You would have multiple projects and be given the chance to dive into the process and progression of new and existing projects.

Job Overview
Employees in this role lead the early-stage project management function supporting project origination and preparing for the execution of new fossil fuel power generation projects.
Projects include natural gas-fired simple cycle and combined cycle power generation projects.
This job coordinates site selection and due diligence, conceptual design, capital estimating, schedule development, major equipment supply and construction contract procurement and supports commercial agreement development to ensure the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner with an acceptable level of risk.
This position participates in all aspects of the project to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgetary constraints and perform according to expectations.
