About This Role:
Project Managers will provide management for assigned capital and non-capital projects, to include: Procurement of professional design services overseeing design team during design delivery process, project scheduling, project budget, pre-qualification of contractors, material preparation for solicitation of contractor bids, management of contractor selection process within boundaries of State of Kansas guidelines, processing and approval of invoices, field inspections, monitoring construction progress and project close-out.
Obtains warranty certificates, operating manuals, and affidavits for issuance of Certificates of Substantial Completion / Occupancy.
Manages project close-out process to ensure smooth transition from construction phase to occupied use by occupants and operation by maintenance staff.
