The Program Manager / Pillar Coordinator (HR & Strategic Projects – CHI) is responsible for leading project execution and portfolio management to ensure alignment with business objectives and HR strategy.
This role drives the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives across HR and the wider organization, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes.
The incumbent will manage multi-disciplinary project teams, serve as a single point of contact for stakeholders, and represent leadership in key meetings when required.
This position requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment while balancing strategic priorities and operational execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead project execution post-deal closure, managing project scope, timelines, budget, and profitability in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Direct, motivate, and hold accountable multi-disciplinary project teams under a defined governance structure to deliver results and ensure customer satisfaction.
Act as a single point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and open communication throughout program execution.
Manage HR project portfolio to align with HR strategy and business objectives; oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives.
Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistency across initiatives.
Coordinate employee life cycle activities globally, ensuring accurate monitoring, completion, and compliance.
Leverage HR analytics (Excel, Power BI, dashboards) to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and support workforce planning (including FTE management).
Prepare HR-related presentations and reports for CHI Leadership Team and HR Leadership meetings.
Support strategic programs across AMERs (AD/CV, OIE, SPIF, White Space, Distribution, GLP/Oral Biologics) by coordinating deadlines, data collection, alignment across consultants, and representing leads in key meetings when required.
Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the organization.
Coach, mentor, and support development of project team members through collaboration with line managers.
Ensure effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and lessons-learned processes are in place for all projects.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Life Sciences, or related field.
– years of proven experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Portfolio Management in a corporate environment.
Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
Proficiency in HR processes, HR analytics, and tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Deep understanding of project governance, change management, and business strategy execution.
Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to build trust, create alignment, and engage with stakeholders across all levels.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, able to drive results in complex, matrix organizations.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, adapt to change, and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
Desired / Nice-to-Have: Experience in HR portfolio/program management within a global or regional organization.
Knowledge of cGMP, ISO , or ISO standards were relevant.
Experience working across different regions (AMERs, EMEA, APAC) and managing cross-border projects.
Advanced skills in data visualization and HR systems integration.
Formal project management certification (, PMP, PRINCE, Agile).
