Job Title: ​​ Project Manager III (EVS)
Location: ​​ Westwood, MA – (Hybrid- three/four days in office)
Duration: ​​ months (temp to perm)

Manager Notes:
The Lead, Executive Projects and Department Operations, will drive coordination, planning, and execution of high-visibility initiatives supporting senior leadership.

This role blends strategic project management, executive communications, and cross-functional coordination, while ensuring smooth execution of departmental priorities.
The Lead will oversee scheduling and workflow alignment for executive leadership, prepare and manage communications, provide oversight of strategic initiatives, and design processes that improve efficiency across the department.

This position requires strong judgment, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategic objectives.

This is a contractor position with the opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a permanent hire.

Typical task breakdown:

  • Project & Initiative Management
  • Lead project oversight, including delegation tracking, milestone follow-ups, and issue resolution.
  • Support major initiatives such as employee/leader cohort programs, statewide funding coordination, and sustainability/impact reports.
  • Optimize and refine executive workflows and recurring business rhythms.
  • Executive Support & Communications
  • Manage executive calendar optimization, prioritization of meetings, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Provide inbox triage with authority to draft or respond on behalf of leadership.
  • Draft and edit executive communications, including internal and external emails, strategy decks, PR remarks, and speeches.
  • Prepare background research for interviews, conferences, and events.
  • Meeting & Event Leadership
  • Coordinate executive and leadership meetings, including strategic planning sessions and skip-level engagements.
  • Prepare meeting materials, create slide decks, and manage agenda alignment.
  • Attend select meetings in place of executive leadership, providing accurate readouts and action tracking.
  • Process & Relationship Management
  • Design and improve operational processes such as travel, expense approvals, sponsorship reviews, and content approval flows.
  • Coordinate with legal and external partners on NDAs and data-sharing agreements.
  • Draft communications as needed in support of leadership priorities.
  • Manage use of systems and tools to track stakeholder engagement and maintain accurate information.

  • Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five () or more years of experience in project management, operations, or executive support.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional initiatives, executive communications, and/or process improvement.
  • Experience supporting senior executives strongly preferred.

  • Licenses & Certifications
    Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) a plus.

    Technical Skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to track complex initiatives.
  • Skilled in executive-level communication, with excellent written and verbal ability.
  • High discretion and judgment in handling sensitive personnel, financial, or business matters.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels.
