Our client is seeking an experienced Roadway Design Project Manager to join their Charlotte team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to lead high-impact transportation projects, collaborate directly with clients, and mentor junior engineers.
Manage roadway design projects, including highways, arterials, intersections, and interchangesOversee project budgets, schedules, scopes, and deliverablesEnsure compliance with NCDOT and FHWA standardsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, serving as primary point of contactLead proposal development and contribute to business development activitiesMentor and train junior engineering staffUtilize design software such as MicroStation, GeoPak, and Open Roads Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)P.E. license in NC (or ability to secure within 6 months)10+ years of roadway design and project management experienceStrong background with MicroStation, GeoPak, Open Roads, CAD, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated success in business development and proposal preparation Why This Is a Great Opportunity
