Job Title: Project Manager – Structural Steel
Location: Remote with Travel
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and erection projects.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience in the structural steel industry, with a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of structural steel and misc.
metals projects from preconstruction through completion.
Coordinate fabrication, detailing, and erection activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain control of project budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and change orders.
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, architects, and field teams.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
Support and collaborate with field and shop teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing structural steel or misc.
metals fabrication and erection projects.
Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, detailing, and erection methods.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (not required).
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary ($90K–$140K+, depending on experience).
