You will join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.3 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE)
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- You’ll join our talented Program Management Team.
- You will be managing schedules, reviewing project status, and understanding how to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- You will be closely collaborating with project managers, functional managers, clients and other stakeholders using MS Project 2016.
- You will support the metrics team in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects/programs
- You will identify major milestones, decision points, project lifecycle and other project events
- You will facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews
- You will be willing to work outside of normal business hours as required to meet deadlines
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent
Required Experience:
- Six (6) or more years of related experience
- Three (3) or more years of hands-on project scheduling experience using MS Project 2016 managing simultaneous multiple projects
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Product Suite
Required Skills:
- Excellent Problem Resolution skills
- Great team and client interaction skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in gathering, analyzing, documenting and briefing information
- Ability to effectively convey requirements, concerns and capabilities to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of Earned Value methodology
- Experience in Medicaid or Healthcare Processing Systems
- MS Project Server experience (not required, highly desirable)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (not required, highly desirable)
The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750.
This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
