SLR International Corporation is seeking an Air Quality Associate Consultant to join our Air Quality team.
The qualified candidate will have 10 or more years of experience in air quality consulting or related disciplines.

Job Description
Required Technical Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical or Environmental a plus) Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related scientific field requiredKnowledge of state and federal environmental regulations, such as Title V, PSD, GHG Reporting, NSPS, NESHAP, RMPStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite of softwareValid driver's license and ability to travel by airplane or car Preferred Technical Skills and Experience
Air pollutant emission source calculations using mass balance, emission factors, and/or process simulationExperience with Federal and State Air PermittingCompliance reporting, including criteria pollutant and GHG emission inventoriesAir quality regulatory analysis (state regulations and federal Clean Air Act program standards)Project management experience ( setting up projects and executing within scope, schedule, and budget constraints)Supplemental experience in non-air quality environmental programs (SPCC, Stormwater, RMP, etc.) is a plus. Analyze industrial processes and operations to quantify air pollutant emissionsProvide air quality permitting and regulatory compliance support industrial clientsPerform emissions estimate calculations to aid in permitting, emissions inventories, and annual compliance reportingReview federal, state, and local regulations to identify applicable requirements governing the operation of air emission sourcesPrepare air quality permit applications to obtain authorization to construct and operate air pollutant emission sourcesManage tasks and communicate status with internal and external stakeholdersPrepare and use data management systems and tools to track compliance with permit requirements and air regulations and prepare compliance reportsPrepare proposals, reports and other written deliverablesTravel to clients’ facilities for inspections and document reviewWork within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignmentCompensation Range:
The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $70,000 to $80,000.
Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
The pay range for this job working in Colorado is $70,000 to $80,000.
