**Boeing Commercial Airplanes** is hiring a **Propulsion Engineer (Mid-level and Experienced)** to support **Propulsion System Engineering** in the **Puget Sound** area of **Washington** .

Whether your engineering expertise in Propulsion are Systems Integration, auxiliary power systems, vehicle fuel and tank systems, software, Controls or Flight sciences, we have opportunities for you to learn, grow and contribute.

This requisition is targeting Engineers with relevant skills and job experience to be utilized within our Propulsion Organization.

Qualified candidates will be brought into the organization and hired into open positions within Propulsion based on their skills, strengths, capabilities and interests.

This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Candidates will be required to work with other engineering disciplines.
+ Develops general configuration concepts for associated vehicle systems.
+ Supports design of propulsion sub-systems and components.
+ Employs various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance.
+ Supports development of concepts for future propulsion systems.
+ Applies requirements for propulsion systems, auxiliary power systems and vehicle fuel and tank systems.
+ Utilizes and applies(y) Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to speed innovation, increase operating efficiencies and assist in development, integration and certification of complex systems.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

+ Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry or related technical field of study.
+ Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

+ 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Experience coding in Python, C++, NPSS
+ Experience with testing, modeling, analysis or simulation
+ Experience with design and manufacturing
+ Experience with part certification

Summary pay range Mid Level (level 3): $100,300 - $135,700

Summary pay range Experienced (level 4): $121,550 - $164,450
