A mission-focused organization is seeking a Protocol Analyst (Skill Level 1) to support intelligence and network analysis operations.
This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with foundational experience in protocol analysis, particularly in applying technical knowledge to data tagging or analysis tools.
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
Support the development or enhancement of data tagging tools by applying knowledge of communication protocols.
Conduct protocol analysis in support of signals and communications intelligence missions.
Assist in identifying and characterizing network traffic based on signal properties and protocol behaviors.
Collaborate with technical teams to support tool development, testing, or operational deployment of analytic capabilities.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences) + 2 years of relevant experience
Associate’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience (if military training in signals analysis has been completed — e.g., Course 451 or 452, or MCSAP)
High school diploma or GED + 6 years of relevant experience (with the same qualifying military training as above)
Relevant experience must include one or more of the following areas:
Signals analysis (bitstream, waveform, or protocol analysis)
Network troubleshooting or network security
Traffic flow characterization or packet-level data analysis
Communications signal exploitation
Annual Base Salary Range: $93,000 – $110,000 (USD)
Does not include discretionary bonus or full benefits package.
Final compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and related factors.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this role.
