Coordinate with the central metadata team on regular metadata audits of Holt titles.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with editorial and managing editorial on manuscript submission and delivery; work with art on cover and interior artwork; and collaborate with publicity and marketing on promotional materials and schedules.

Manage internal publishing processes such as cover reveals, book club rollouts, embargoes, and stickering.

Ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Rights Management: Oversee galley quantities and distribution.

Manage permissions licenses and liaise with Legal and Contracts on reversions and cancellations.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in publishing operations or a related field, preferably within a commercial trade publisher.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong command of publishing software and systems (e.g., Biblio, Cognos, Therefore, RSuite, CoreSource) and project management tools.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to articulate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to anticipate and resolve operational bottlenecks calmly and resourcefully.
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
