Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating procurement activities?

seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Miramar.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Purchasing Manager by ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes and maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.


Salary: $20 - $25


Schedule: 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday


Responsibilities:



  • Assist in establishing and maintaining procurement metrics, focusing on key performance indicators such as order placement, delivery times, and supplier performance.

  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers.

  • Generate and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Track and monitor order statuses to facilitate timely deliveries and maintain optimal inventory levels.

  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues, expedite orders, and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies to maximize value and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information on material requirements and ensure alignment with production schedules.

  • Generate reports and updates for management on the status of procurement activities.


 


Requirements:



  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or coordination role is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other procurement software.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
