This is an open posting for Purdue University students interested in co-op, internship and new grad opportunities with Nutrien.

What we are looking for: We are accepting applications for intern, co-op, and summer student opportunities from motivated and talented individuals who are current students or recent graduates.

While specific openings may not be available at this moment, we are always eager to connect with candidates interested in exploring future opportunities within Nutrien.

Internship and Co-ops: 

  • Requirements: Currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year degree program in Agriculture, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2026 or later.
  • Locations/Terms: (Dates can be adjusted to coincide with school terms) Nutrien Ag Solutions Retail Facilities - Summer Internship (May-Aug) Aurora, NC - 6 month co-op (Jan-Jul or Jun-Dec) Augusta, GA - Alternating co-op term (minimum of two terms)
    Borger, TX - Summer Internship (May-Aug)
    Loveland, CO - Summer Internship (May-Aug)
    Geismar, LA - Summer Internship (May-Aug)
    Lima, OH - 4 or 6 month co-op
    White Springs, FL - Summer Internship (May-Aug)

  • Programs:

    Emerging Talent Program - The Emerging Talent Program is Nutrien Ag Solution’s new graduate program that allows employees to get both field experience, professional development, and a broader understanding of Nutrien’s role in the agriculture industry.

    During the two-year program, employees will get hands-on experience, personal and professional development, a network of peers and other stakeholders and exposure to the broader Nutrien Ag Solutions business.

    At the end of the program, employees will have a solid foundation that will allow them to be successful in the retail environment.

    Candidates are full time employees who will gain valuable hands-on experience in this program.

    At the conclusion of the program, the candidate will be placed into an exciting role within one of the functions within Nutrien Ag Solutions.

    Placement will consider several factors including business needs, available openings, participant strengths and preferences.

    Relocation may be required.

    Engineer in Training This rotational program combines technical training achieved at University with on-the-job training.

    Through formal training, mentorship and increasing levels of responsibility, you will develop your technical job skills and knowledge of business processes in our Nitrogen and Phosphate Business Units.

    At the conclusion of the rotation, the engineer will be placed into an exciting role within our Nitrogen or Phosphate Business Units.

    Placement will consider several factors including business needs, available openings, participant strengths and preferences.

    New Grad Tech Program - This rotational program will guide you through key technology functions (Data, Cyber Security, Enterprise Applications, Digital Delivery, Strategy) over a period, up to two years.

    This role contributes to key efforts and initiatives while also gaining exposure to information and digital solutions within Nutrien and the requisite leadership skills needed to drive strategic results.

    This role will be assigned a mentor from the IDS Leadership Team and will also receive guidance and support from assigned leads during each segment of the rotation.

    This role will focus on learning and development during the rotation by participating in hands-on work and mentoring opportunities.

    At the conclusion of the rotation, the analyst will be placed into an exciting role within one of the functions within the IDS Department.

    Placement will consider several factors including business needs, available openings, participant strengths and preferences.

  • Requirements: Currently enrolled in a 2 to 4 year degree program in Agriculture, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent related program with a graduation date of May 2026
  • Locations: Nutrien Ag Solutions Retail Facilities - Locations throughout the US
    Phosphate Business Unit: Aurora, NC, White Springs, FL
    Nitrogen Business Unit: Augusta, GA, Borger, TX, Geismar, LA, Lima, OH
    Corporate: Loveland, CO
