Roles and Responsibilities:
The Electrical QAQC process will begin when tool terminations have been verified completed.
The Electrical QAQC Team Lead will submit documents (noted above) to CxAlloy prior to commissioning.
Standards and quality will be outlined and enforced by the Electrical Representative.
Commissioning will be conducted with an Electrical Representative in order to ensure quality of install.
Ensure JHA’s have been properly filled out with scope of work, and barricades encompass the tool with the panels included.
The Electrical QAR must verify electrical hook-ups (to include cable wiring, proper termination torque seals, cable tray inspection, etc.) prior to commissioning with the Electrical Representative.
These verifications may be uploaded to CxAlloy as an audit should it be necessary.
All supporting documents following a field test (or known as a pre-test) shall be submitted to CxAlloy.
All issues during commissioning and pre-test will be the responsibility of the Electrical Supplier.
Issues are to be tracked by the CxAlloy Administrator.
Perform inspections of electrical system installations.
Systems can include high, medium, and low voltage i.e. LSS, I&C, power distribution/generation etc.
Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project
Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling Inspect and test systems
Track, manage, and monitor supplies and materials received and used to complete the project
Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities
Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
Preform final QA on installations
Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of Electrical Systems
Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution
Ensure equipment and overall system OAT / FAT process meets expectations
Review OAT documentation and conduct FATs on behalf of customer
Requirements
Minimum 5-10 years of verifiable electrical experience in field
Journeyman Level Experience required
Minimum 3 in Electrical Quality Control
5-10 years related experience in the construction industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
Extensive knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, NETA)
Computer skills required: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, CX Alloy
