Quality Control
Quality Inspector Las Vegas, NV Oct 1, 2025 We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team.
In this position you will examine product (various categories of retail ready products, bedding, hotel, pregnancy pillows & dog beds) and materials (pillow shells and filling materials such as polyester fibers and foams, or a blend of both) for defects and deviations from specifications.
You will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, work hands on in-process at all stages of production identifying defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of textile materials and finished goods.
Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
Examine fabrics, packing materials and finished textiles for defects, color consistency, texture, and other quality parameters.
Compare materials to the product spec sheets to verify and confirm the materials meet the specifications outlined.
Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
Record inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database and/or excel spreadsheets.
Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed as per customer protocols.
Track and document defects for each order.
Implement and follow quality control procedures and standards.
Identify and segregate defective products for rework or rejection.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality reports.
Collaborate with production, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience High School diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years’ experience in quality control preferred.
Detail Oriented. Keen attention to detail is crucial in this role.
Computer/Software knowledge.
Excellent computer skills (excel), inventory scanning experience preferred.
Communication. Communicates effectively and appropriately.
Speaks and writes in a clear and credible manner.
Uses good judgment as to what to communicate to whom as well as the best way to get that accomplished.
Actively listens to others.
Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
Bilingual a plus.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Typically works in a manufacturing or production environment with exposure to textiles.
Requires standing for long periods and handling fabric samples and inspection tools.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Reading and understanding all job-related standards and procedures.
Reading and agreeing to the HR policies and Employee Handbook.
HOURS AND RATE
Monday to Thursday 3:30pm-2:30am
Rate $18 to start
