Job description


  • General Overview

    This position involves inspecting, testing, and sampling materials or assembled products to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

    You'll be responsible for monitoring production, documenting findings, and coordinating with supervisors to maintain quality standards.

    Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test materials, parts, or finished products for defects or deviations from specification standards using tools like microscopes, calipers, or magnifiers.

    Monitor production equipment and processes to ensure compliance with company and IPC (IPC‐/) workmanship standards.

    Use hand and power tools or fixtures to perform assembly or verification tasks per detailed instructions.

  • Document inspection results accurately—reject or discard non‐compliant items and notify responsible stakeholders.

  • Uphold company's safety, cleanliness, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) policies.

  • Communicate findings effectively with production, engineering, or management teams to adjust processes or resolve quality concerns.

    Contribute to team efforts, continuous improvement, and day‐to‐day quality goals.

  • Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or experience may – years of experience in contract manufacturing or similar QC/QA roles.

  • English proficiency required; Mandarin language skills considered a plus (beneficial in multicultural manufacturing environments)

  • Familiarity with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), electronics, or mechanical components.

  • Knowledge of ESD procedures, IPC workmanship standards, and general inspection practices.

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, communication abilities, and practical problem-solving common sense.

  • Key Responsibilities: Visual inspection, measurement verification, defect documentation, and line support as required.
  • Requirements: Previous experience in manufacturing or quality control preferred but not required; strong attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
