Summary:

The Quality Engineering Supervisor is responsible for product quality, process quality, and supporting continuous improvement projects associated with the quality function within their Business Unit.

This position will lead the Quality Technicians and Quality Inspectors for their respective Business Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the Quality Technicians and/or Quality Inspectors within their Business Unit providing day-to-day work instructions for these team members.
• Diagnoses quality issues and works cross-functionally to resolve them.
• Owns all manufacturing non-conformances, dispositions, and non-conformance communication to cross-functional groups with the Business Unit.
• Collaborates with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supports efforts to resolve in-line quality and production issues.
• Manages non-conformance process for production, including reviews and trending non-conformance reporting.
• Aids in equipment qualification and process validation.
• Assists in developing and implementing quality engineering procedures.
• Oversees environmental monitoring for the applicable clean room to their assigned Business Unit.
• Operates within CPC Quality System.
• Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training.
• Adheres and is knowledgeable to all safety regulations.
• Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 or mor years’ experience working as a quality professional.
• 1-2 years’ leadership experience.
• Knowledge of basic statistical techniques (e.g., process capability, SPC, hypothesis testing, etc.)
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and other analytics tools.
• Self-driven, adaptable and resourceful; able to work under limited supervision.
• This role may require 5% of travel, domestically.
  
  Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
  
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in a clean room environment
• Certified Quality Engineer through ASQ (CQE, CRE, etc.)
