The Swiftwater site is located in northeast Pennsylvania and is home to the production of over 140 million doses of vaccine each year.

The FFIP (Formulation, Filling, Inspection and Packaging) QS (Quality Systems) department drives the vaccines production Quality performance.

QS monitors lot and campaign trends and implements opportunities for equipment, product, and production improvement(s).

FFIP QS implements meaningful and robust CAPAs to improve overall Quality and reduce recurrence of events.

A close collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, Business Systems, and Continuous Improvement to ensure that the processes for new vaccines are as innovative and standardized as possible to guarantee efficacy, cost-effectiveness, and rapid time to market of quality vaccines.

It is a multi-disciplinary function that provides expertise in formulation and filling manufacturing process; continuous process monitoring, process equipment troubleshooting and meet the Health Authorities commitment.

The Data Engineer within the FFIP QS (Formulation, Filling, Inspection and) function of Manufacturing and Supply (M&S) Vaccines will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions that will enable Manufacturing to optimize the production cycle(s) and equipment.

In addition to applying advanced data science and teamwork skills on a daily basis, this role interacts cross functionally to scientifically predict the performance and outcomes associated with each of the products manufactured within FFIP.
