Quality Technician-2nd Shift
Job Description
This role is critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of our solid insulating products by performing testing, inspection, and documentation activities to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and a strong interest or experience in materials testing.
Responsibilities
Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process intermediates, finished goods, and developmental materials to ensure compliance with specifications.Conduct physical, chemical, and performance-based testing.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality and Manufacturing Engineering Departments.Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.Document and report test results accurately in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.Assist with equipment maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to ensure accurate testing.Communicate results with production, R&D, and engineering as necessary to support quality and process control.Essential Skills

AS or BS Degree in engineering or engineering technology (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering preferred)Experience in quality, manufacturing, or lab environment preferredFamiliarity with chemical/materials testing and basic lab proceduresProficiency in spreadsheets, document control systems, and computer usage to locate documents, records, and proceduresExperience with quality data systems is a plusStrong attention to detail with excellent documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skillsEffective verbal and written communication; ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teamsWork Environment
Work is performed in both laboratory and manufacturing settings.
The position adheres to a business casual dress code and operates on a 2nd shift from Monday to Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
