THE WORK
- Work side-by-side with assembly team to assist in training skills, help resolve issues, and quickly demonstrate proper assembly techniques.


- Act as a liaison between training area and manufacturing engineering by identifying process gaps, skill gaps, tooling and training needs.


- Assemble system-level mechanical and electrical assembly on single-bay racks and consoles as well as assembly and integration of ground and flight simulators.


- Assist with driving correct actions for non-conformance trends.


- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations

WHO YOU ARE
You are an expert in rack building and console integration, adept at mechanical fit, high‑density cable routing, and system verification.

You act as the trusted guide on the production floor, instantly stepping in to support, teach, and resolve issues as they arise.

Your strong grasp of drawings, routing standards, and safety practices enables you to convey best practices in a clear, concise manner to colleagues of all experience levels.

You work autonomously, maintain rigorous quality documentation, and act as the connective link between the training organization and manufacturing engineering.

Desired skills

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's quality control procedures and guidelines

• Experience working with Lockheed Martin or similar companies in the aerospace or defense industry

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable continuous‑improvement training.

• Certification in mechanical and/or electronics assembly or a related field.

• Knowledgeable in J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
