Overview

i3 is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced radar systems for defense applications.

The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge radar technologies, from initial concept through deployment, ensuring systems meet stringent performance, reliability, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze radar systems including transmitters, receivers, signal processors, and antenna arrays
  • Support the development of system requirements and specifications for radar performance parameters
  • Provide technical guidance on radar system integration and optimization
  • Support the planning and execution of comprehensive testing protocols for radar system validation
  • Analyze test data and generate detailed performance reports
  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective measures
  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • 15 years of experience
  • Proficiency in radar principles including waveform design, signal processing, and target detection
  • Strong background in RF/microwave engineering
  • Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink)
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing and real-time embedded systems
  • Proficient with RF test equipment (.

    spectrum analyzer)
  • Desired:

  • 20 years of experience
  • Experience with digital signal processing in radar applications
  • MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis
  • RF test and evaluation experience
  • Experience supporting anechoic chamber operations
  • Security Clearance

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

    Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion.
