Overview
i3 is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced radar systems for defense applications.
The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge radar technologies, from initial concept through deployment, ensuring systems meet stringent performance, reliability, and performance requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Design and analyze radar systems including transmitters, receivers, signal processors, and antenna arrays
+ Support the development of system requirements and specifications for radar performance parameters
+ Provide technical guidance on radar system integration and optimization
+ Support the planning and execution of comprehensive testing protocols for radar system validation
+ Analyze test data and generate detailed performance reports
+ Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective measures
Qualifications
Required:
+ BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
+ 15 years of experience
+ Proficiency in radar principles including waveform design, signal processing, and target detection
+ Strong background in RF/microwave engineering
+ Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink)
+ Knowledge of digital signal processing and real-time embedded systems
+ Proficient with RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzer)
Desired:
+ 20 years of experience
+ Experience with digital signal processing in radar applications
+ MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis
+ RF test and evaluation experience
+ Experience supporting anechoic chamber operations
Security Clearance
+ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
+ Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
