**Job Overview**

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a **Receptionist & Administrative Assistant** for a well-established professional office in the **Dubuque area** .

This position offers a welcoming and team-oriented environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued.

As the **Receptionist & Administrative Assistant** , you’ll be the first point of contact for clients — both in person and over the phone.

You’ll help create a warm, professional first impression while supporting advisors with scheduling, documentation, and general office operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Greet clients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude
+ Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages as needed
+ Schedule client appointments and maintain accurate records in company systems
+ Assist with data entry, document preparation, and client file updates
+ Handle mailings, faxes, and other administrative communications
+ Keep lobby and common areas organized and presentable
+ Support team members with project preparation, reports, and mailings
+ Maintain confidentiality and ensure a positive client experience

**What We’re Looking For**

+ Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology
+ Professional appearance and demeanor
+ Positive attitude and ability to work independently
+ High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

**Schedule & Pay**

+ **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
+ **Pay:** Starting at **$18/hour** , depending on experience
+ **Position Type:** Full-time, Evaluation-to-Hire
