Summary Announcement conjunction with the JBLM NAF HR Office Job Fair at the Eagles Pride Golf Course in Tacoma, WA on Tuesday, 07 October 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Aquatics Program.

Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Cash bonus in the amount up to $1000.00 is authorized.

Selectees are eligible to receive a cash bonus of $500 after working 50 hours and an additional $500 after working 100 hours.

Responsibilities Serves as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools and works under the direction of the Installation Aquatics Program Manager.

Responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance at the assigned aquatics facility.

Provides maximum pool area surveillance and responds to emergencies; rescues pool patrons and administers first aid as required.

Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to TC 21-21 or assisting with American Red Cross swim lessons as an Aide.

Attend aquatics and/or safety training as directed.

Assists in maintaining pool, and area clean and free from any hazards.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.

Must be able to swim.

Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system.

Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
