Summary This will fill positions at Atkins, Monti, and Magrath Physical Fitness Centers but may also fill other positions in the Business Recreation Division.

This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York.

FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resilience and well-being of Soldiers and Families.

Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will NOT be paid.

Responsibilities In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.

Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.

May provide work guidance to other staff.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: at least six (6) months of work experience involved dealing with the general public.

Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who are U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals that have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation and reside within the Local Commuting Area (defined as 100-mile radius) of Fort Drum, NY.

Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) are included in this area of consideration.

Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system.

Sunday Premium and Night Differential pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander or the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Flexible positions with no guaranteed hours.

Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
