Position Information Posting Number PG195449TM Position Number 15CBS003 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties The candidate will support research, modeling, and policy analysis efforts within the Baker Resource Economics and Sustainability Lab (RES-Lab).
Ideally, we are targeting an advanced undergraduate or graduate student with strong technical skills and interests in resource economics and policy, forestry, water resource management, or a related field.
We expect to fill multiple positions,which could include the following project areas:
Supporting forest sector modeling and research activities for the Southern Forest Resource Assessment Consortium (SOFAC),Supporting economic research, analysis, and logistical support for the Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center to advance a new Phosphorus Policy Forum,Regional and global scale modeling and analysis of agriculture, forestry, and land use systems under global change drivers,Support empirical and modeling work on integrated food, energy, and water systems in NC and California’s Central Valley.
