This is an open and continuous posting for full-time and part-time positions on multiple shifts.
Western Massachusetts Hospital, operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH), is seeking an energetic Respiratory Therapist to provide care to patients in an acute, long term care hospital.
We are a specialty care hospital providing in-patient services to individuals in need of ventilator/respiratory, end of life care, neuromuscular, Alzheimer’s, and chronic care.
The selected candidateparticipates in the respiratory needs of adult and geriatric patients on an inpatient unit following standards of care.
Administers medication, provides ventilator support in accordance with standard practices, policy and protocols.
Maintains accurate records for related treatment plans and respiratory care.
Provides professional expertise and knowledge in carrying out emergency functions, all codes, and unexpected emergencies.
1st Shift (7:00AM to 3:30PM), working every other weekend with days off as assigned.
2nd Shift (3:00PM to 11:30PM), working every other weekend with days off as assigned.
3rd Shift (11:15PM to 7:15AM), working every other weekend with days off as assigned.
