The Leidos Offensive Cyber Operation (OCO) team of talented Reverse/Embedded software engineers are actively developing offensive cyber foundational tool kits for customers with mission critical requirements to detect, deny, degrade, disrupt and deceive targets.

The team has generated tools and capabilities for hundreds of real-world targets (routers, switches, etc.) for multiple customer missions.

Our team is eager to bring on one to two Sr. Reverse/Embedded Software Engineers who are ready to directly contribute in designing and developing tools using the latest and greatest offensive cyber technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize programming techniques to evade host-based or network intrusion detection systems.
  • Develop software to capture, analyze, and interpret raw network traffic.
  • Network socket programming including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
  • Deconstructing a variety of hardware and software, focusing on network devices and technologies, and developing capabilities to utilize the vulnerabilities discovered.
  • Designing capabilities from a set of requirements, and preparing detailed designs
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess active TS/SCI security clearance to be considered for this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or similar field of study with a minimum of twelve (12) years of development experience.
  • Expert in software design and development in Python and C/C++
  • Demonstrated offensive cyber experience programming cyber tools and/or techniques for the U.S. Government or within the commercial sector.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, routers, and network security.
  • Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with firmware and/or embedded systems reverse engineering
  • Experience programming in Assembly
  • Experience utilizing reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra to analyze firmware of embedded devices
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
