ATCO STRUCTURES AND LOGISTICS (USA) INC.

(“ASL-USA”) is seeking an Revit Designer for our Office in Spring.

The MEP Revit Designer is responsible for the production of Mechanical, electrical & Plumbing engineered plan drawings, specifications, and material take-offs for constructing manufactured structures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Prepare complete sets of Mechanical, electrical & plumbing drawings which include technical layout, multiple view, detail drawings and assembly drawings.

Maintain proper documentation and database changes.

Timely delivery of building-compliant and cost-effective Construction Drawings through acute collaboration with Manufacturing, Estimating/Design, Compliance and Standards, and Supply Chain.

Utilize mathematical formulas to compute weights, load capacities, dimensions, quantities of material, etc.

Coordinate arrangement designs with other disciplines (Structural, Architectural, ) to ensure construction drawing jurisdiction approvals Develop quality Mechanical piping and HVAC modelling plans with cost-estimated pricing.

Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function, manufacturability, and cost.

Collaborate with Product Engineers and entire product development teams.

Reference the product cost estimate during the drawing process and raise any significant anomalies with the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Ensure designs comply with relevant building standards, regulations, and procedures.

Maintain awareness of current building codes through internal and external technical resources.

Assists in preparation of shop drawings and engineering deliverables in Revit and CAD.

Operate within ISO Quality system and company safety policy in all phases of assignments View products with internal stakeholders to confirm accuracy of drawings, material take-off selections / quantities, equipment installations, detailed specifications, and opportunities for improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, but also the ability to work well as a member of a team.

Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

Ability to meet deadlines A minimum of one (1) year of design drafting experience in an engineering or manufacturing organization with mechanical, electrical and Plumbing experience is preferred.

Experience in using COM Check for thermal envelopes, lighting and Mechanical code compliance preferred.

Experience in using HAP software for HVAC calculations preferred.

Experience in electrical load calculations preferred.

Experience in plumbing design pressure calculations preferred.

Proficient use of 3D CAD software and Revit, preferred.

Thorough understanding of the creation of detailed drawings to fully convey form, fit, and function along with most efficient manufacturability.

At least one year of Residential, Commercial, or Modular Design experience preferred.

At least one year of Revit experience.

Proficient with CAD Systems; Autodesk products (Revit) Superior organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and planning skills.

Self-starter and highly motivated.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Experience in traditional and/or permanent modular design experience a plus.
