The Lockheed Martin Space Mission Processing team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated RF Engineer Sr Stf to join our development team.

As the Leader of an Integrated Product Team, you will lead a team of developers to design, develop, test, and deploy a major hardware system including antennas, software defined radios, and related RF connections as part of a first-of-its kind antenna system.

Responsibilities include:
• Leading and designing and developing RF circuits and systems, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas.
• Directing hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including Spectrum analyzers to measure and analyze RF signals, Signal generators to generate RF signals for testing, Oscilloscopes to measure and analyze RF waveforms, and Network analyzers to measure and analyze RF network parameters.
• Developing and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards.
• Leading collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other components.

May require interfacing with the government customer on system specifications.
• Working with software-defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing.
• Troubleshooting and debugging RF system issues, using a range of tools and techniques.
• Providing mentorship to junior RF engineers
**Selected candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration.**
**This is an SR CAREER (level 5) ROLE where candidates typically require 8 years of professional experience and a BS degree.**
This position is contingent upon the program award expected in October/November (post shutdown).

**Basic Qualifications:**
• 8+ years of related experience working on software development projects
• Ability to interact with peer-developers to facilitate interoperability with other subsystems
• Experience with managing a budget for a project or team
• Advanced knowledge of RF circuit design, including amplifiers, filters, and components
• Advanced experience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Vector Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF power meters, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft software products including Visio
• Experience with CAD software suites such as AutoCAD
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required for consideration
**Desired Skills:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical discipline.

Equivalent industry-related experience is acceptable
• Experience with government COMSEC applications and integration of Crypto devices and communications systems.
• Experience with Military Satellite Communications, ground based systems
• Experience with product lifecycle phases (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR)
• Experience with RF/digital equipment test and measurement techniques
• Experience with RF front-end design
• Experience leading and managing research or design projects
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM) practices for Earned Value Management (EVM) programs

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
